3rd Party Solution Guidelines – Read Before Posting

If you’ve developed code that integrates with the Authorize.Net Payment Gateway and want to make it available to other developers, this forum is for you. Here you can promote your commercial or open-source solution to other community members.

Here are some general guidelines to follow:

  • Posts should be concise, developer-to-developer conversations. Don’t include any of that marketing fluff or spin, just focus on what you offer and how it can help other developers.
  • Only post new product announcements or significant new release notices. While we’re pleased to see you’ve fixed bugs in your x.0.0.00.002 release, this isn’t the place for that level of detail.
  • Submissions will be promptly reviewed by the moderators.

To help you prepare for your first post, we’ve included a good and not-so-good example below:

GOOD

Subject: Acme Corp offers new Authorize.Net CIM integration module for XYZ Shopping Cart

Using the module, developers working on XYZ Shopping Cart can quickly add CIM capabilities without building a full integration from scratch. The Acme Corp Authorize.Net CIM Integration module is available at www.something.com or through the XYZ module exchange. For technical inquiries, contact…

This submission is good because it includes relevant, technical information for developers and is a commercially available product integrating a specific Authorize.Net API.

NOT-SO-GOOD

Subject: Emerging Group Web Design Announces Services Portfolio Expansion

Emerging Group Web Design now offers Authorize.Net Payment Gateway API integration services. We have many clients, they all love us, and we want you to become our latest success story.

We applaud the Emerging Group for adding Authorize.Net integration to their list of competencies. However, this isn’t the place to promote their company. Because it’s a promotional announcement for a person or company and is not for a specific integration solution, script or toolkit, our crack moderators would promptly remove the submission.

That’s it. We hope this forum provides our developers with another tool in their toolbox.
