My name is Ben, and I work closely with our network of U.S.-based resellers at Authorize.Net. Every day, I listen to our partners talk about the demands of their business and help them respond to their customers. Increasingly, their customers have questions about mobile commerce and want to know how it will change the market. A recent study by ControlScan, a PCI compliance and security solutions company, suggests that roughly 50% of all mobile devices today are smartphones. And that number is increasing all the time. It begs the question, is this an opportunity for Authorize.Net developers? I think it is.

Definitely an opportunity, if you look at other countries where mobile is more developed such as South Korea, you will see how they use their cell phones for everything, from grocery store shopping to even virtual "malls"
