New JSON Message Format Beta

Today we are making JSON available as an alternative message format to XML with the Authorize.Net API. We hope that by adding JSON support, JavaScript and mobile developers will be able to more quickly integrate their solutions.

Try out the new JSON format in the API Reference Guide at http://developer.authorize.net/api/reference.

We welcome your feedback during the beta period and will do our best to incorporate that feedback, therefore we do not recommend using JSON in a live solution until we complete beta testing.

New Product Ideas Forum

We are also pleased to be launching a new section in the developer community where members can submit ideas for new Authorize.Net features, add comments to suggestions and vote on their favorite ideas.

Authorize.Net will review the suggestions regularly as part of our planning and development process.  We’ll also provide updates to the community as approved ideas move through the development process. While we can’t guarantee delivery on every suggestion, we’ll consider all of the community feedback.

Visit the new Product Ideas forum now at http://community.developer.authorize.net/t5/Ideas/idb-p/ideas.
