AIM. Wordpress. Woocommerce. Server change

So my client has been running wordpress site with wocommerce cart check via Authorize AIM using the offical woocommerce Authorize extentsion.

He site has been running well for a year, and his sales and site are booming

Due to the heavy traffic, I recommend he upgraded his hosting account due to the traffic he is recieving was getting heavy, so he upgraded to a VPS server.

After this upgrade, Authorize charges in woocommerce all are "pending payment"

Requests are sent to authorize.net the payment is completed in authorize.net but no reponse is given back to wocommerce, so the order get stuck waiting "Pending"

I checked the logs an the requests are sent, and there is no reply back. there are no "responses"

not even an error code

just blanks

We tried new trans keys in the api settings, which was no help

We tried removing wordfence firewall, no help

We tried 2 calls to authorize.net tech support, no help

Ill list details below

Thanks for any help

I had a similar issue with a client's website and this is how we fixed it and kept Wordfence.

  1. If checked, uncheck the option for “Block IPs who send POST requests with blank User-Agent and Referer"
  2. Add authorize.net IP addresses to the options whitelist field (Whitelisted IP addresses that bypass all rules)
  3. Enable live traffic and look for blocked IPs for any authorize.net IP addresses
    1. Unblock them and add them to the whitelist

After testing that the ordering process is working, recheck the Wordfence option "Block IPs who send POST requests with blank User-Agent and Referer"
