CIM SOAP API returning a 550 error on sandbox and production

We're currently experiencing a complete failure of the SOAP API, which we use to create CIM profiles using the authorizesauce Python library.

It was working as of 10:45 a.m. central time this morning (April 18th.) It suddenly started failing at some point afterwards. Both our production and sandbox accounts simply return a 550 error with no other information when we attempt to create a CIM profile. We are able to, e.g., charge existing profiles, however.

Is there an issue with the SOAP API currently?

Let me know where to call, support gave the an awesome response:

Thank you for replying to Authorize.Net in regards to your 550 error, I'd be happy to assist you further. Now I do apologize but we are not web developers here and we cannot correct this for you.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone. It would appear that our cases are now associated, so hopefully this will place more visibility on the issue. I'm also told that an engineer is now looking into the matter.

Thanks  Kent !

Just got off with chat and they said they are on it, getting other reports from other customers...

Awesome idea to bring together our case numbers to get it escalated!

I also asked to post feedback they need to work on their triage process, they have gotten so big you cant get an issue like this resolved in any reasonable amount of time!  They used to be super careful, professional and responsive...

For those looking for a workaround, check the discussion over at Git.

Anyone getting any communication on when this will be resolved?

Our main callcenter processing system is down and this is all I can get out of support:

"We have received an update from our engineers who are stating that they have identified the root cause and are actively working on a fix. We do not have an ETA as to when this fix will be released though. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

Thanks!

Although we moved away from a portion of their SOAP API yesterday as we couldn't wait any longer, I did just receive the following.

Kent, The problem for processing has been identified and a fix is being implemented.

Thank you for contacting Customer Support.

Hi All ,

We have fixed the issue with the SOAP APIs .  Let us  know if still any issues .

Going forward I will strongly recommended to look at integrating using our  official Authorize.Net SDKs at https://github.com/AuthorizeNet

Also we  are planning of doing end of life for the deprecated SOAP APIs in future  so if there is direct integrations with SOAP APIs please look to move to  use our SDKs or XML APIs at https://developer.authorize.net/api/reference/index.html

More details will be communicated on it soon  .

Thanks

Anurag
