HTML code for button not secure (https) when users aren't signed into website

Our buttons work perfectly for payments, but the pages are http not https.  However, if we restrict visibility of a page to members that have logged into the website, the pages are https.   We need to accept donations from non-members, and I was wondering if I can put a link to our authorize.net payment page instead of embedding code for a button.  To view:  www.smhscs.org.  See links on bottom left hand side of page, Donate Online!  It is currently public, so it is http.  If I make it private, visitors that do not/cannot log in can not see the link.

Hi,

The simple checkout button can be embedded on any page. There is no restriction that the button itself is on an https page, the hosted form that it sends customers too will always be seen over https regardless of your own website. There is no reason to limit it to https pages only on your site.

Thanks,
