HTML "SMART" feedback from https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll

I'm doing a very simple test with https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll - if i pass this url a certain valid x_login and x_tran_key, the response i get is html content about "SMART Association". passing in invalid x_login returns an error about the login, typing in a bad x_tran_key returns another different error. However, each and every time i pass the login and key from one of my 9 clients, instead of any type of error code, i get a full page about the S.M.A.R.T. association and SMART chips.

could anyone suggest why this might be happening? seems like very odd feedback unless there is something weird configured for this particular client's authorize.net account, but i've yet to identify any configuration setting that looks abnormal. every time i try to address this with Authorize.net they insist our code is bad, even though at this point i'm doing nothing more than passing variables into their transact.dll with no intervening code.

thanks in advance!!

Hello @jwoodhc

Can you duplicate this in the sandbox, or does it only occur in production?  Can you provide the entire request with any sensitive information redacted?
