How to derive the Gateway fee per transaction

Folks,

We are new to Authorize.NET and i am trying to figure how to determine the fee charged by authorize.net per transaction. We are integrating with Credit Cards and ACH and we have a requirement to adjust for the gateway fee in our books. How do i determine that via APIs?

Thanks,

Vimal

The transaction fee depends on the currency your costumer is paying in (correct me if im wrong)

For example on my clients website hobbypainter.nl diamond paintings the transaction fee's are in euro's. Im not sure but i think you should contact Authorize.net instead of asking the community.

Kind regards,

Jonathan

There is not an API for fees. The support article below goes over how to see the fees.

I think that Jonathan is right. We see it the sameway to our client diamond painting website.

For the article that mmcguire gives there are 10 different fees, maybe make a youtube movie to make it a bit more clear!

Hope that helps

Kind regards,

Sonja

The partner that sets up your Authorize.Net account determines the fees, so it is not possible to tell forum users what the fees are.

The best way to see your fees, as described in the article:

To view your Authorize.Net Payment Gateway service fees:

  1. Log into the Merchant Interface at https://account.authorize.net/.
  2. Click Account from the main toolbar.
  3. Click Merchant Profile in the main left side menu.
  4. Click Fees to the right of Payment Gateway in the Payment Methods section.
