When a suspended(I don’t know being first payment makes difference or not) subscription’s credit card information is updated by using Recurring Billing API, its status effected ? If it is when ?
You may not need an explanation but I will share you our process. When a suspended subscription is retrieved, we put its owner to the grace period to update his credit card information. When user enters new credit card information we charge customer’s credit card for the missing ARB payment. And let his ARB continue. But since its status does not change this subscription again will be caught for being suspended in a short time. I will change the progress according your comment.
Please dont suggest me flows by using merchant interface. I am a developer i am only interested in working with APIs.

Updating the payment information via ARBUpdateSubscriptionRequest will reactivate the subscription as long as the current status is suspended.
