verify.authorize.net is down?

https://verify.authorize.net/anetseal/images/secure90x72.gif stopped working recently.

http://verify.authorize.net/anetseal/images/secure90x72.gif works fine.

wget reports:

ERROR: The certificate of ‘verify.authorize.net’ is not trusted.
ERROR: The certificate of ‘verify.authorize.net’ hasn't got a known issuer.

My web browser (firefox) just loads forever and then times out.

We've been experiencing outages as well with the verify.authorize.net host.

Our monitors have been alerting a 502 gateway error when requesting http://verify.authorize.net/anetseal/seal.js for the last couple weeks.

Hello @juan2009

We're not aware of any issues currently impacting the Verified Merchant Seal.  If you continue to see issues with your production account, I would recommend contacting customer service.

Thanks @RichardH.

It is really bizarre. I can access the file directly from the browser, but our monitors are returning a 502 response. Looks like its on the monitors end. Either way, the script is really slow aand we prob should be loading it async anyways.

Thanks for your help!
