Today we are announcing the release of Authorize.Net Accept Hosted, a mobile-optimized, PCI DSS SAQ-A compliant solution for accepting payments. Accept Hosted is a replacement for our legacy hosted payment form, SIM, and offers many advantages, including the freedom to accept payments while reducing PCI scope and development efforts. We encourage you to begin migrating to or using  Accept Hosted immediately.

Accept Hosted Advantages

Mobile-Optimized

Accept Hosted is a mobile-optimized form allowing merchants to accept payments on any device—mobile, tablet or desktop. In addition, Accept Hosted includes built-in features to reduce friction throughout the checkout process:

  • Each field includes a label and a visual hint for the correct value to enter, making it easier for customers to enter the correct information.
  • The card number field automatically displays the appropriate brand logo and provides instant feedback for card number typos.
  • Users automatically move to the next field after a valid entry for the card number, expiration date and card code fields.
  • Entering a valid U.S. zip code will auto-populate the city and state.

New Configuration Options

Additional configuration options for Accept :

  • Show fields for collecting payment and shipping information, or payment information only.
  • Choose to use our standard responsive receipt or create your own.

Help Us Improve Accept Hosted

Accept Hosted offers a direct replacement for SIM, but we are not finished yet. Let us know how it is working for you and how we can improve by contributing Product Ideas.

SIM and DPM

With the release of both Accept Hosted and Accept.js, we are beginning the process to deprecate our legacy SIM and DPM integration methods. Going forward, we will correct bugs with SIM/DPM, but will not add any new functionality.

We will soon announce an official end-of-life timeline  for SIM and DPM, so we encourage you to upgrade any existing SIM/DPM solutions to use Accept Hosted or Accept.js.
