Webhooks are notifications from the Authorize.Net system that you can configure to be sent whenever a particular event occurs.
Authorize.Net is pleased to announce three new Webhooks to complement our Fraud Management APIs for held, approved or declined Advanced Fraud Detection Suite™ (AFDS) transactions.
When a transaction is held for review by AFDS, a Webhook notification can now be sent via HTTPS POST to your application. You can then use our Fraud Management API to approve or decline the transaction within your application. Authorize.Net will retry notifications up to 10 times until your application acknowledges receipt with an HTTP 200 response code. You can also receive notifications when transactions are approved and declined through the Merchant Interface or API.
Learn more by reviewing the Webhooks Documentation.
We welcome your feedback on this release and suggestions on what event types we should add next.
