While we believe our API Reference is one of the best in the industry, we’re always working to make it better. Today we’re announcing a preview of our latest enhancement the request builder.

Request builder allows you to configure an Authorize.Net API Request using a tree view, selecting the nodes you want to use. The corresponding XML/JSON is dynamically generated and you can immediately Try It from within the API Reference.

New Capabilities

  • Tree view of request alongside the actual XML/JSON request
  • See request parameters as tree nodes
  • Selecting/de-selecting a node shows/hides element in the request
  • Cursor automatically moves to newly added element in request
  • Hovering over a node shows a tool tip with a description of that field
  • Try It now the default tab for the API Reference
  • Able to add default values for newly added fields

Let us know what you think of our newly updated API Reference in our developer community.
