Maximum year for credit card expiration date

What is maximum acceptable year for a credit card expiration date? Authorize.net is rejecting some expiration dates because they are too far into the future, some 6+ years. Yet this is what the expiration date is on their card.

The maximum acceptable year for a credit card expiration date typically depends on the card issuer's policy. In general, most cards are valid for up to four or five years from the date of issue, so the expiration date could be up to four or five years in the future from the current year. For example, if the current year is 2024, the expiration date could be in the range of 2028 to 2029. However, it's important to check with the specific card issuer for their exact expiration date policy.

One customer that is having difficulty is in Taiwan. Her expiration year is 2030. Authorize.net rejects the transaction and she verified with her bank that there was no problem with the transaction on the issuer's side. I believe the problem is on Authorize.net's side, possibly 2030 is outside of their range?
