Capture Error

We captured the transaction and we got an Approval code.

 

When we changed the order status from the web multiple times,,  then it captures over and over again with different approval code.  

 

Under the circumstance of using one credit card number-- it should not capture more than 1 time.

 

Please let us know when you can fix this problem

Are we talking about production account or your test accont?

Which API? CIM? SIM? AIM? DPM? ARB?

So you have a transactionID and approval code? It this auth_only?

What do you mean changed the order status? And what web site?

 

then it captures over and over again with different approval code. 

How are you capturing it? in code? on the merchant account website? Are you tell us you are getting new approval code or you try it with a fake approval code and it works?

I have a query ,Can you tell me what is the use of invoice id while doing Prior_auth_capture for authorized transaction?

what is the difference between capture_only and prior_auth_only?

It for your information only, authorize.net does not use it for anything.
