Access apps directly

Tap status bar to scroll up a page

You can let your finger rest from scrolling a long page up to reach the top. Tap the status bar—the bar that shows battery and time—and you will be able jump to the top of a page of website, email, contacts and other apps.

Jump between apps

A device like iphone or ipad can run many apps simultaneously, but when one is appearing, others stay on the background. It is easy to jump from one app to another app in a desktop as it has a taskbar that shows all the active windows. But you can do it on an iphone by double tapping the home button. You will see a pop-up tray showing all the running apps. You can choose the app you want to run. If you have an ipad, place four fingers on the screen and swipe them at once. This will allow you to jump between applications.
